4-7 p.m.
Ohio Historical Center, Columbus
Food-Truck-A-Palooza
Maybe it was the old chuck wagon of the Wild West days or perhaps the mobile canteens during World War II. Whichever came first, food vehicles are certainly a part of our history. Food trucks and history come together in one event as the Ohio Historical Center hosts Food-Truck-A-Palooza. Vendors include Leslie's Creperie, the Lucky Ladle, 3 Babes and a Baker featuring cupcakes, Junior Tacos, Sabadabado BBQ and Mojo Ta Go. Smaller versions of the customer favorites will be for sale, so people have a chance to sample food from several vendors. Diners will be able to enjoy a slide show of historic photographs of Columbus street scenes. Afterwards visitors can see the museum's exhibits, including The Nature of Ohio and Ohio: Centuries of Change.
Museum admission: FREE. Call 800.686.6124.
