Bexley considers allowing food carts

A growing food trend might be wheeling its way into Bexley soon. The City Council has drafted an ordinance to allow pushcarts that, if passed, would open the door for transient food vendors typically more prevalent on college campuses, in larger downtowns and at sporting events.
“It seems to be a hot trend. It’s something that might bring people and add to businesses,” said Jed Morison, a council member who is on the committee handling the legislation.
