First Fridays hits Karma this February with 3 rooms and 3 different parties. What kind of parties? You got International DJ J. Rawls bumpin' in the Old School Room, Dj Ssegala tearing up the Hip-Hop Room and Roots High Power Pete Funk blazing up the Reggae Room.
First Fridays is one of central Ohio's hottest monthly events, pulling partygoers from Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Detroit... Going strong for almost 15years, First Fridays always bring you the hottest music, the hottest people, and the hottest party.

Im there! First fridays always has a nice crowd. The midmonth mixers are usualy hot too.

Don't know much about that. I thnk they're working on being open on a regualr basis, but I DO know that we'll be blowing the roof off for First Fridays.

WTF karma is open? Who reopened it? Ii saw the ad on TV for NYE but thought nothing of it. and 3 rooms with unknown talents... might as well close again.

I think C&G still own it...although I'm not sure if they are the ones operating it or not.

Let's not be shitty about it.
Unknown Talents. Well, I can speak for at least two of them. J. Rawls is an internationally known DJ and Producer and has worked with acts like Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Eric Roberson, Dweli, and more, as well as holding down a monthly gig in Manhattan while also touring Germany and Japan.
Pete Funk is one of the top reggae DJ's in town and has played alongside some of the biggest names in the business like Stone Love, Metromedia, etc., Pete has backed reggae artists such as Capleton, Tony Matterhorn, Wayne Wonder, Chaka Demus and Pliers. Pete also plays at the biggest New Years Eve party in Jamaica every year and has come in twice in some big sound clashes in NYC.
Maybe you should come out to the party and see for yourself. In fact, SPECIAL DEAL FOR CU MEMBERS is below.
