Our December cask event will feature pints of Bell's Two Hearted real ale followed by a cask of Bell's Double Cream Stout. Two Hearted gets tapped at 6pm. Fusion Cafe will be outside from 6-10ish. Bring CASH if you want to eat because they don't take credit cards. Hope to see you there! Cheers!

Save me one for Friday :)Heh- wish I could BUT the Two Hearted is typically gone in less than 2 hours and the stout I imagine will be gone by midnight or so. The nature of the beer makes it so it has to be drank within 24-48 hours or it is no good. Get it while you can folks!! :D

D'oh I was afraid you'd say that, last time you had the Bells on Cask I got the last 2 pints on Friday, had to tip the keg, last 2 pints ;)

Oh- that's because we had the nerve to go for THREE casks that night. The first 2 went in 1.5 hours each& the last one had about 8 pints left in it so we sold those on Friday. Glad you got one! They taste sooo much better the first night though :)

Before the smoking ban, I would cringe when a smoker was close to the firkin while beer was being poured. Unless a “cask breather†is blanketing the beer with CO₂, the cask fills up with second hand smoke. NOT the same as rauchbier...

Fusion Cafe just informed me that he is making some sort of jerk chicken sliders to pair with the Two Hearted Ale and a vanilla bean rum creme brule to go with the Double Cream Stout... See you TOMORROW!!

TONIGHT!! Ok- update: Fusion Cafe's truck broke down& thus they cannot be at the event now. Luckily, Justin from Da Levee has kindly offered to bring up a pan of saucy goodness to help feed the beer drinking crowd. It will be first come, first serve since this was such a last minute plan. Best part is- it is FREE! What a sweetheart for donating delicious food to help make this event a success. Party time begins 6ish. Hope to see you there! I can't think of a better way to warm up on a cold December day than Double Cream Stout, Two Hearted and spicy Da Levee!! Cheers!
