I'm glad to hear your outings were outstanding, so I bet the grandparents were content as well.
My fine dining list apparently needs updated now (RIP Handke's and Morton's), so there's room for a few others (G. Michael's perhaps).

Hit DeepWood last night and the Rabbit is fantastic…though it was lacking in patronage, unfortunately. It is a great cozy place. And the Cheese..um…fritter-like-things…which we started off with were also fabulous. If you haven’t been there..it is worth your time.
