Petition language for a constitutional amendment to outlaw abortion by giving legal protections to fertilized human eggs was approved by Attorney General Mike DeWine yesterday. DeWine said the summary of the nicknamed “personhood” amendment was “fair and truthful.” Once the Ohio Ballot Board takes action, abortion foes can start collecting the more than 385,000 valid voter signatures needed to get on the November ballot.
