Is your job search faltering? Increase your likelihood of positive outcomes by securing career development expertise. New Directions Career Center, a non-profit organization serving Central Ohio for over 30 years, offers career changers as well as those facing unemployment three cutting edge programs in February designed to assist individuals in achieving professional goals.
Placement Services are available to all program graduates.
Advanced Career Techniques (ACT), held February 13th – 15th, 5:00pm – 9:00pm, addresses the cutting edge resources of an in-depth job search. Participants learn how to construct resumes that stand out from the competition and get results. They also learn effective job search strategies as well as interviewing skills and salary negotiation.
New Directions (ND) is a 21 day program designed exclusively for women. Running weekdays, February 15th – March 15th,, 9:00am – 3:00pm, it serves as a catalyst for change, empowering participants to examine who they are and where they want to go – both personally and professionally. The sessions, taught by educators, employers, health care experts, and career development experts, provide clients with the tools they need to create a professional development plan.
All classes are held at 199 E. Rich Street in downtown Columbus. Fee waivers are available to qualifying individuals.
