YouTubeWith all of the new and old spots in the Short North, it's hard to say which is the best. The Bandits are big fans of Bernard's Tavern and Mac's Cafe (with many honorable mentions). Oh, and they just raided Da Levee with a review up next week- that was real good. Thoughts?

Surly Girl is by far my favorite Short North restaurant. Hands down they have the best grilled cheese and tomato soup to go with their great beer and cocktail menu. Plus how can you beat a restaurant that helps you keep in shape with Punk Rock Aerobics?
Not sure if it still counts as Short North but Barley's is also a favorite.

Depends on what I want...If I want a casual sammich and lots of booze with lots of friends, it's Surly. If I wanna be fancy-ish, it's DeepWood. For a burger and cocktail craving, I'm off to The Rossi. And if I want to walk for sushi, it's Nida's.
As far as an overall fave though...I gotta go with The Rossi.
