Instead of derailing a thread, I thought I would start another.
The older I get, the more nostalgic I get for my childhood. Some of my favorite memories are:
- Playing wiffleball in the street and being pissed when someone parked in front of "second base" which was always a mailbox.
Lots of popsicles on hot summer days
Coming home from a day at the pool smelling of chlorine and being that great kind of tired that you only get from the sun and lots of swimming
Not worrying about the caloric content of ANYTHING
Climbing trees
Accidently setting fire to the back yard
The siren call of the ice cream man
REAL Saturday morning cartoons
There are tons more I am sure. What are yours??
