Greetings all,
I was just passing along some info about the 2007 "Experience Columbus" days coming up soon, in early October (the 5th - 8th). This annual event coincides with Columbus Day weekend, and is a citywide promotion designed to showcase some good places for which our town is known.
One can head over to the website, updated just yesterday (September 14th) with this year's info, and print out a free pass :
http://www.experiencecolumbusdays.com/ecdays/pdf/ec_days_card.pdf
This printed flyer will get one 50% off of any number of admissions to a wide variety of local places, including :
The Columbus Art Museum
COSI
Columbus Zoo
the men's soccer ("football" to the rest of the world) game that weekend
Franklin Park Conservatory
Wexner Center events
and more!
As well, you can take the pass to any one of 30 local restaurants, and get 25% off of your bill. Some places include :
Katzinger's Deli
Surly Girl Saloon
The (Elevator) Brewery
and additional ones too.
Last year some friends and I went to Franklin Park Conservatory.
The pass is good for Monday, October 8th, as well, as a 'trick' to perhaps avoid any potential weekend crowds.
Take care!
* Geoff
