Before I derail Lisa's thread too much more, I'd like to thank her for posting the preview. I've not had cable for a while so I've not been watching, but I'll have to grab the latest episodes and watch them soon. That show in particular looks great..

Heavens! That puts us in some very august company -- thanks! I hope we can live up to it. (Well, we can definitely live up to Larry's....)
I picked you guys because you're such darn good hosts.. For being a bunch of city slickers you sure learned down home hospitality really quickly.
Bear wrote I was thinking Diaspora, for the bowl of silkworm pupae. But that's the other food network show, the extreme disgusting food guy.How about Thurn's? I bet he'd love it.
I almost don't know where to start with restaurants in the Short North alone -- Rosendales, Basi, Tasi, Rigsby's, Bono, etc., etc. -- each chef would probably love to knock his socks off with something. You'd need a week.
The idea wasn't 1+ Michelin stars all the way. To me the great thing about his show is that he looks for food experiences that sum up the experience of an area..
In No Res he's using food to introduce us to people and show us the viewer how we are similar. This is basically my experience of the world, and why I like his show (and his writing) so much.
I intentionally left a few places out and looking at your list, I see that I've forgotten a few.
I threw on my justifications and some show ideas for the fun of it...
Anyone else?
