Along the same lines, does anybody know of a store that has a good selection of serial cables? I'm looking for a DB25 M/M cable and Microcenter is out of stock.

circuit city has all of their cables 35% off at the moment since they are going out.35% off MSRP. Best Buy and other stores may still have a lower price, since MSRP could be ridiculously sky high.
ya I thought the same thing when one of my friends told me about some TV he was going to buy at CC. He was like.. it's 20% off! and I told him it was cheaper in the best buy ad. :P

I defiantly know of a place in Columbus where you can get cheap HDMI cables and other a/v supplies. The company is called JAVACO, Inc, website http://www.shopjavaco.com. They are located at 3670 Parkway Lane, Suite E HilliardJust wanted to say I swung by here yesterday & walked out with my $4.91 hdmi cable. Many thanks.

Aren't Monster cables like the biggest scam in the world? (well, maybe not the biggest in the world, but certainly in the audio cable world)From what I’ve read, yes (including Core’s link). And I don’t mean because audio cables are a scam – just Monster are overpriced for what they offer. Like Bose.
But I read too much.

The little used computer place by micro center should still be there, I recently got a used laptop there. There is also Computer Renaissance farther up Bethel, in the Carriage Place center.

I just noticed this place last weekend when I went to Microcenter. It's one spot down from the old space and called "Computer Express". The old store was "Computer Success".
Never been in though. Not sure how it compares to the old place?

Pretty much the same, maybe even the same people under a different name. Always a good place to go for a cheap beater box, and they have lots of parts.

The best place i have found for cheap cables is called GadgetEase on sawmill rd. They also will pay you for your used cables and most electronics in good condition.
Although they don't carry some specialized cables for inside computers they carry most audio, video, and computer cables in addition to a pretty nice selection of computer accessories like wireless keyboards, mouse, external drives, and other usb doo hickery.
All the items are used but have been tested. Check out there website, store is really great:
