(BTW before anyone thinks i have a 'motive' for making these statements, no i have absolutely no interest in the resturant business except as a customer and care not one bit except for the eating)

Things must have changed drastically there. I used to go to the Olentangy location after work sometimes since my office is so close by. A few girlfriends and I overindulged one evening and I was carried to the car by two of my friends. I haven't had any drinks there for about a year though so things certainly could have changed.

Suddenly I don't feel so bad about paying $20 at La Fogata, but I do because I want them everyday! 2 Fridays in a row I have successfully managed to get completely plowed so I'd say alcohol is sufficient :oops:

About a 2 years ago I took catnfiddle to try my favorite tex and/or mex place, The Chili Verde Cafe.
We got margaritas and I was enjoying mine, but she had an odd facial expression.
She said: "This tastes kinda funny... its good, but it has an odd flavor"
I tried it and it tasted great to me. Then I realized....
"That's TEQUILA, dear"
"Oh, yeah, it is... i've never actually tasted that in a margarita before!"
(Then she burned herself on cheese when her "popper" assploded)
It's the only place I can get buzzed on one house margarita. Man, those are GOOD.

Try LaFogata and see what you think. I tried to get a margarita at CuCo's Saturday night and couldn't do it. I was just blech, no more tequilla.

If you're ordering a margarita at Vaquero's, you have to order the "Texas" margarita. It's only a couple bucks more, and the make it with Cuervo Gold. At least I've had luck with them in the past... donno if they've changed their tequila policy recently. The house margaritas have always sucked.

Yeah, when I first moved here I thought, Columbus loves Mexican food, I'm going to survive!! I was hoping El Vaq would be good, but went for a business lunch and it sucked. I gave it another shot because the Polaris location at lunch is nuts, and awful again. I would eat at Don Pablo's over El Vaquero any day. Luckily there's so many other good places you could have Mexican food everyday for a week and never even consider those places. Seriously, it's been done :)
Ummm, margaritas. I love regular, mango, and passion fruit. Usually on the rocks, but frozen has it's place.
Damn, I'm calling margarita machine man today. Who wants another Barack-a-Rita party?!?!

Originally it was "Foghat World Tour", but their tour manager had lysdexia and now it's just become lexicon.

I've never had what I would consider a bad meal at El Vaquero. It's not my favorite place, but it's far from "bad".
It has gotten pricer in the past few years though, which keeps us from going very often.

There are about 2 or 3 things at El Vaquero that I like. Ordering carefully there is key. However, it is definitely never my first choice for Mexican food. I do love Cuco's though and my beloved taco truck on 5th and Forsythe.
Ugh, I just love Mexican food.
Now I want some.

I thought it was Fuck The What, as in WTF backwards, lol. I didn't know why people said this, but whatever. I am assuming since you found some meaning that's not it either. What is it?
