Anyone else feel the earthquake this morning? I was randomly awake at 5:30 when my bed started to shake (and NO there wasn't someone else in it...). Creepy!

I was up about 5:30 and heard and felt the house shutter, which I thought was kind off odd, but not too out of the ordinary seeing as I live in an older campus-area house. I flipped on the news a few minutes later and learned about the earthquake...pretty interesting

Apparently, parrots are good earthquake detectors.
I was awakened at about 5:40 this morning to the sound of Cosmo flopping around on the bottom of her cage. She had been de-perched, but I couldn't figure out what caused it until I saw the headlines.

I am baffled now...I checked my email timestamps and I was awake and coherent enough to be sending emails at 5:25am and I noticed absolutely nothing at all.
Bummer.

so i've been trying to figure if it happened a 4:37 why did i wake up at 5:30. at first i guessed it took an hour to get here, like a slow moving wave rippling through indiana. then i remembered the time difference in illinois. stupid farmers.
