For the city-wide Earth Day event last year, we had a benefit concert during the week. It helped raise money to put on the event, got people excited about volunteering that weekend, and was a lot of fun. It was at Little Brothers and was sponsored by Sierra Nevada last year. Obviously, we can't do it at LB this year and we're having a hard time finding a venue and someone to organize it. Does anyone on here have the time/connections/commitment to put something together in a few weeks? I figured with all the DJs/artists/musicians on here, I should have good luck asking here!
It would have to take place on April 24th. If so, shoot me a message or email info@greencbus.org (put benefit concert in the subject). We need someone to spearhead this but you would have the support of a lot of great people and organizations.
Also, go register to volunteer on April 26th. If you had fun doing the bike trail cleanup last weekend, there is more cleaning to do.

After registering to volunteer, you can thank Mr. Reed for damn fine website design.
