I hope so. That was snarftastic.

I think an ideal location would be the lot adjacent to the UDF, which for some reason is still an undeveloped lot; or the recently vacated space next to Mike’s Grill/Rowe.

    I’ll say it.

Stephen, yet another broke, downtown arm chair quarterback, of what others should do with their money.

Here’s an honest criticism and idea for you to take this “need” of downtown/short north and do something about it. There are plenty of restaurants located it that area who do not offer breakfast. Offer to lease their space and kitchen for an early breakfast, done by 10am. You rent it, and staff it, leaving the owner with little to no risk, but an additional revenue opportunity for them.

Then you can test your idea and see if there is an actual market for it.

Not everyone wants to open a restaurant. That’s not a very helpful suggestion.

    I think you should open a helpful-suggestion-staurant.

Columbus lacks enough 24/7 diners for sure.

Dempsey’s opens for breakfast at 7am.

Well maybe you should look into leasing a warehouse and open a business that manufactures armchairs.

I would support that, ONLY if I could buy those armchairs downtown :)

And, honestly, I thought my suggestion was helpful. Even if someone doesn’t wish to get in the restaurant business, they probably know someone who does and this could encourage them with an idea they never thought of.

Who knows, maybe Mr. Stephen is a PR and Marketing genius and could promote the hell out of the place for his friend and its a whopping success. Hello, Pop Up Restaurant anyone?

But, then, maybe we could just wish and hope and that will make this idea/suggestion/whatever turn into reality.

Or maybe Stephen will just go eat breakfast at DK Diner.
