I was driving North on Front yesterday about 4:45 and on the left side saw a attractive naked woman walking down the sidewalk a little erratically. After I narrowly avoided a parked car I fished in my pocket to get out my cell phone to snap a picture. However by the time I had the cell phone out I was a block and a half away.
Now, I want to go on record that I am completely for young naked woman and think this is an aspect of Columbus that was missed on the 'cool' list. But something didn't seem right and after my initial shock I realized that she might be in distress.
The call to 911 went like this:
911: 911 dispatch, can I help you.
Me: Yes, There is a naked woman that seems disoriented walking down high street.
911: Can you give me the location
Me: On high street, by...... uhh..... oh yeah, sycamore. Sycamore and High walking south.
911: Can you describe her, Is she black, white, Hispanic....
Me Thinking (how many naked women can their be?)
Me: White, 25 to 30, about 5 foot 5, 115 pounds and a natural blonde
Sound on 911 phone: <cough> <phone dropped> <rustling sounds>
911: What is she wearing?
Me: uhhhhhhh, shes na....
911: Oh right, <guy seems a little confused> We will dispatch a car there right away.
Me: OK, thanks
I hung up and looked at my phone. It showed a red square with a white cross through it. There was a disclaimer that my phone and location had been sent and my phone would not be released.
Comfest starting early this year?
