E-cycle It Day
Keeping electronics from the landfill one community at a time
Saturday, October 22, 2011
9am-1pm
47 Hall Street, Powell, OH 43065
Located in the Powell Municipal Building Parking Lot
Got old, unwanted, broken electronics? Bring them to Powell’s 1st Annual E-cycle It Day!
The purpose of this one-day drop off program is to provide Powell residents a convenient means in which to responsibly discard electronics.
Did you know that the nation now dumps between
300 million and 400 million electronic items per year?
Those unwanted electronics are called e-waste
and less than 20% are recycled.
Please note we require a $15 contribution for each CRT and/or tube TV (old bulky computer monitors) as these items contain hazardous materials and require special handling for proper disposal. We appreciate your contribution and effort to keep these items from the landfill.
