Hey there,
I'm in town visiting for the next week or so from LA and I'd like to find a dubstep or dnb show happening sometime this weekend to get my fix. :-) I've found some info both on CU and other sites but they appear to be old and I'm not sure they're still happening. Anyone know of anything current?

friday at circus is "juicy" a twice monthly dance party with a rotating cast of dj's. usually 3 or 4 djs, and usually 1 or 2 of them is exclusively dubstep.
saturday i'm pretty sure skullys has it going on there

Thanks for the info, bastardsuperstar. I'm sorry to have missed Circus yesterday night but I might check out Juicy. I didn't expect there to be all that much happening out here but after such a killer lineup at Blastoff fest last weekend, I was hoping that the dubstep/dnb bug had caught on a little more.

honestly, it has. most of the dance nights in town (at least the one i experience) have gone very dubstep heavy, and it's made them all stronger, busier nights.
and last night at circus sounded great for the little bit i was there, but man was it a fucking sausagefest.

Although it can get redundant, it has put some life back into the scene. I do wish people weren't as cold to anything that wasn't there niche, however.
