Dublin Road onramp to I-670 East - what's happening?

Sorry if this is posted somewhere already but I'm thru 1 cup of coffee and haven't found anything, so a new topic:

Does anyone have any idea what is under construction near the onramp from Dublin Road to eastbound I-670? The long two-lane onramp is restricted to one, and I hadn't given it much thought, until recently when I realized there were tall/skinny concrete pillars sticking up - like maybe a bridge is being constructed? Even more exciting - perhaps it is a pedestrian bridge on the bike trail that is in that vicinity?

The paving the way website is virtually useless: http://www.pavingtheway.org/i-670/ just wondering if anyone knew what this was.

Just from the looks of it (and I have nothing to back up this observation), it seems like they're building a bridge from 70 Westbound to Grandview Ave. As it is now, if you're going westbound on 70, you have to wait until Hague to get off and backtrack.

Is it the Hilltop connector? I haven't been to a greenways meeting for a while so I'm not up to date on that project.

I'd expect to see more shopping carts on the trails after these get connected.
But this might convince me to bike to work in the future.

It looks like that's the spot, just as you get out from under the bridge.

My water sampling route takes me through there every few days, on the way from Griggs to Greenlawn.

Exciting times. The first step is the connector and then the connection to the Olentangy trail. I need to work on my cardio to make the Grandview hill on anything but the granny gear...

It opens the Hilltop to Grandview. It is a start, and much safer than biking down Grandview Ave and over the offramp to McKinley. When it connects to downtown and the Olentangy Trail it will be great.
