It sucks but I will give the city credit for admitting (although quietly) over two years ago that it was a bad move. I do feel bad for the business owners who were likely promised more.
The "Shoppes" development aside, Dublin has done a lot of work over the past three to four years to plan a new, mixed-use bridge street corridor from 270 to Sawmill. I don't think many other suburbs are in that position. The plan looks great. I just hope they go about the execution progressively yet cautiously. They're talking about it being a 20 year plan, which is better in my opinion. I'd hate to see it turn out like Creekside.
