You've heard Sharam's GU effort, now it's time for the other half of Deep Dish to pop his cherry. Dubfire's 'GU031:Taipei' hits shelves in April.
But don't expect Eddie Murphy covers; Dubfire draws on that other kind of eighties music: Jesus & Mary Chain, Einstürzende Neubauten, Depeche Mode and Nitzer Ebb. "This mix is more about who I am, as opposed to Deep Dish," says Dubfire.
The double-CD includes 2006 crowdpleasers from Booka Shade ('In White Rooms'), Simian Mobile Disco ('Hustler'), Deetron ('The Afterlife') and X-Press 2 ('Kill100') as well as three Dubfire remixes plus his forthcoming new single, a cover of 'I Feel Speed' by eighties goth-pop band Love & Rockets. Maybe that explains the eyeliner.

Aaron, what's going on, I got a msg from Kumar Arora who works at Sugar, and he's telling me it's a misprint, and that the event is 21+, not 18+.
I really hope not because I've already advertised to a lot of people on campus, and a lot of the under-21 really wants to go, because it's their chance to show up, as most events have been 21+.
