... And maybe more to the point, what would you be willing to spend?

I was thinking about this, since I missed getting tickets to see Adele in Nashville (with Wanda Jackson, by the way... at the Ryman!) that I would have happily coughed up the cash to get there, see the show & spend the night. Plus the time off. That combination of music + venue will make for a killer night.

So, who do you really, *really* wish you could see live? In what Columbus/nearby venue?

What has been the best live show you've ever seen?

Patti Smith or Nick Lowe would be cool to see here. Belle and Sebastian played here in the late 90's but have not come close since.

I'll go deep and suggest Kate Bush play in my living room, or Maria McKee.

Best show I've ever seen: Elton John at Madison Square Garden in 1982.
Best show in Columbus: Warren Zevon at the Newport in 1990.

If I won the lottery I'd pay the $80 per ticket to see Bryan Ferry at Edinburgh Castle. We'll already be in Glasgow then, but that's pricey!

I want Mumford & Sons to come to Columbus.... not sure what the best venue would be. Not my back yard, but likely the back yard of some folks I know. ;)

I would like to see a mini stoner rock festival including Kyuss, Sleep, The Sword and Witchcraft. It should be called "The Hot Box Tour". I'd pay anywhere from 40-60 bucks.

Also, I would pay just about anything to see PJ Harvey again. She is one bad a$$ rock and roller!

I saw them in Columbus (maybe it was last year..?..) at the Wexner Center. It was pretty great :)

Aw bummer. MOTR is rad. Great owners and a great jukebox. Amazing booking. And they have a nice focus on local beers and local sourcing for their food. Definitely check it out as soon as you can. Is awesomesauce.
