Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that the large parking lot at the corner of Gay and 3RD is currently being torn up. Is there any chance at all that there may be some development slated for this land? I guess its possible that they are just rebuilding the parking lot itself, but it wasn't in bad shape, and its not necessary to rip up the old pavement in order to resurface. At the same time, if there were going to be some development here, sure seems like there would have been some type of an announcement.
Also, the large parking lot at the corner of 5th and Spring has been torn up. The entire plot is now a dirt lot full of stakes. Any chance that there might be something going on here??
At the very least.....there is no greater pleasure for an urbanist than to see old ugly Downtown parking lots being ripped out by the roots. Aaahhhhhhhh.
