btw, just wondering, in the above article it said the first group had it booked for Oct. 15th; I'm guessing they had to re-book?
They said it's opening the 15th, but individuals won't be able to book until the 28th.

If I remember right, they were supposed to have some of the rooms done for that group, and are gradually taking larger groups/more people as the other rooms finish and the staff gets trained?
Although if it was ready for any guests to enter on the 15th it was just barely ready. Even today the entrance is a construction zone, and can you even pull into the garage entrance yet?
I think you would have to park in the Vine Street Garage and walk over using the new connection.

The new Hilton is open. I stopped in for a bourbon at their bar last night, but it was too late to try the restaurant. The place looks very nice.
Pic of the new restaurant at the Hilton, looks amazing:

Anybody hear if the Hilton is going to be putting on a NYE party? Something similar to Hyatt or Renaissance?

Skywalk between the Hilton and the Convention Center was opened Sunday morning.

You had to have been there right about the same time I was there because the cleaning lady was in that exact same spot

Thanks for mentioning this as I forgot to adjust my camera's clock for DST. I took this at 2:04, and the skywalk was opened not long before that. Sorry I missed you, Nelson!
