Was anyone else stuck in a massive (for Columbus at least) traffic jam this morning? Here's the latest I could find:

Second, at least... morse IIRC was a "suspicious package" next to a traffic light switch box, this morning was apparently a ringing phone in a mail box...

My guess is CPD got some suspicious package training recently that's it's itching to try out, and hey, overtime!

Also, I heard that in this case, the questionable item was a ringing blackberry that someone had packaged and put in the mail.

You're not the only one who has noticed it. I hesitate to go into much detail what I heard on radio, but it seems the cops are keeping a close eye on what is going on with this.

Ah... When I worked emergency mgmt in NYC, responsibility was always an area of contention between FDNY and NYPD. So quite frequently at package jobs, you'd see a cop arrest a fireman for interfering with a crime scene. knuckleheads.
