Hello C/U. I thought I would post this up here to see if anyone had any interest in joining our golf league. Please let me know via PM if you have an interest. We need approx. 6 more people. Thanks!
Someone once said that golf, “is a good walk spoiled.†That’s one way to look at golf. We prefer to think golf is an outlet from the trials and tribulations of the work-a-day world. It provides us with a way to distance ourselves from our problems at least for a short while. Regardless how you define golf, you are invited to join the Buggyworks Golf League. In addition to golf and fun you'll be able to tell you life views on golf.
The Buggyworks Golf League is an organized mixed golf league for our residents and their closest friends. Our league will be played at Phoenix Golf Links on Wednesday’s with tee times starting at 5:00 p.m. The league will officially start on May 6, 2009 and last 16 weeks ending on August 19, 2009. League fees are $260.00 with the first half payment due prior to the league starting date and the second half due prior to the eighth week. Of course we will also accept full payment too.
Depending on interest there will be 16-24 players divided into teams of four who will compete against each other week to week for fun and prizes. The golf format has mostly been decided but more details will follow. MOST IMPORTANTLY we need to provide Phoenix Golf Links with our golf league roster by April 29. If you would like to participate either by getting together a team, or you want to be placed on a team, Jason Lyman via PM.
