Dog/Pet "friendly" businesses in Columbus

Ok,
So, now that I have TWO dogs, (golden retrievers, 4yrs, and 14 weeks :)), and the Coffee Table is gone *sob*, its next to impossible to walk through the short north and grab a bite or a cup of coffee on my way to Goodale.
Other than 3 dog bakery, and "pet stores" (posh pets rocks!), are there any businesses that are dog friendly? I travel with my pooches CONSTANTLY, if I can take them, I do.
BTW, if anyone's hitting gallery hop and wants to help my socialize the puppy, I'll be by cup-o-joes on the cap and would love to see unfamiliar faces (to the dog) give him treats. From 7 on probably...

We've sat on the patio at Bodega while Merc's dog sat beside us outside the fence. They didn't seem to care, and we just kept him supplied with a steady stream of chips to keep him quiet.
I know it's not in the neighborhood, but Gresso's does pups on the patio every Tuesday I think...that might be worth a trip to GV to get them some people and doggie socialization.

Almost every store in the neighborhood has dogs and welcomes them. I just heard Jinny is getting two French Bulldog Puppies! We always have treats for our dogs that we're happy to share. Beware that June will bark non-stop if there is another dog in the store, but she means no harm.

Columbus has been a wierd dog experiance for us.
In Philly you had to have your dog on a leash at any time.
On the other hand, a dog could join you at the table if food was served outside. When we went out, we would ask for an extra chair and our dog would sit at the table with us.
It completly floored us when we could not bring our dog to eat with us. It became such a way of life in Philly. It feels wierd to go out to dinner without him.
In the Ritz, four season and some bars you could even bring your dog inside. Each year the Ritz would have 'Santa Paws' where they took pictures of your dog on Santa's lap. Then we would go sit at the bar and order lunch. The waitress would bring a china dish over with biscuts for our dog to eat at the table. He even had a special leather high chair.

The Max and Erma's downtown has let us chain rufus to our table on the patio. Never tried it with both of them.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone knows of additional dog-friendly spots in town. Is it OK at Northstar? I *think* I've seen dogs on the patio, but I'm not certain enough to make the trip there with my pup.

I thought i saw a couple dogs at 3rd and Hollywood. I think they are the same owners as Northstar.

Yes it's okay outside. There are water bowls for puppies at both locations

Columbus Public Health has banned pets on restaurant/bar patios. Restaurant/bar patios aren't intentionally being unfriendly to pets, but simply following the law. No restaurant wants a critical violation from the agency that regulates them.

Yeah, still lots that are pet friendly...but much like bars that allow smoking or restaurants that allow BYOB, the best idea is to not make public posts about which ones are doing it ;)

That said, Gresso's is advertising Pups on the Patio still on their own site, so no harm in mentioning it.

Yep!

I'm not sure when they begin enforcement, they changed the law sometime in the last year, I'm not sure when it goes into effect.

I have also seen plenty of dogs hanging at the patio in front of the Panera's and Stauf's in Grandview. I would say that the Grandview strip is pretty dog friendly.
