Does Gay Street always smell?

Parts of the OSU campus could smell pretty bad too. When Larkins Hall was still around, the area on the Stadium side could almost knock you out on some days.

That was in 2000, so maybe they improved it at some point?

Are you kidding? Maybe not as bad as NY, but Chicago is pretty damn stankayyyy.

The worst was walking to and from RiverNorth for groceries.Not kidding. Never had a problem here. On the contrary, I can smell the deliciousness of the Blommer chocolate factory downtown when the wind is blowing right.

@johnwirtz-You are not imagining the smell at Young and Gay. I live in the park building within several feet of the intersection. The good part is that it is very contained near the sewer....can not smell it in the courtyard/condos. Also, that is the only spot I know of in the area with an odor so its not a big deal. I believe the city is working on the odor problem anyway....
