Local Matters is a nonprofit group that includes about 30 restaurants and 25 farms as partners, creating a network that helps sustain a steady supply of local goods. It also advocates for a more secure and just food system that makes healthful foods available to everyone, regardless of means.Restaurants that join the Local Matters network pay $50 and agree to serve at least two locally grown food items on their menus from May to October.
