Dispatch halting publication of Spanish-language Fronteras

The Dispatch Printing Co. will cease publication of the Spanish-language weekly Fronteras next month. Fronteras began in Columbus six years ago as a partnership between Universal Press Syndicate and the Dispatch, but Universal backed out of the venture earlier this year, said Phil Pikelny, Dispatch Printing’s vice president and chief marketing officer. New York-based design firm Danilo Black is taking over Universal’s role in Fronteras, which primarily consists of syndicated content in several markets, he said.
