Who else is interested in joining us for some folfing?
so far; just figuring out availability:
weekdays after 3:30
Brothermarcus (after 6pm)
Columbus Naitive (after 3:30)
Kessler (mornings)
Johnaesthetica (evenings)
Pixlfarmer (after 6pm)
weekends sometime btw 10am-6pm
Brothermarcus (11am-6pm)
Columbus Naitive (open)
Johnaesthetica (open)
Kessler (10am-6pm)
Pixlfarmer (open?)
I'm a beginner looking to get some play in over the summer.
Lets see if we can get a fun team thing going and we can hit various courses around columbus.
For those interested on how it's done or wanting pointers. check out Disc crafts video's they seem well made and easy to understand. This one is very long but lots of interesting points.

I've told myself that about 4 years ago, played a few times over the years now. Now I'm telling myself "Rich you should play more often, try to improve your game by not hiking as much into the roughs and trees!" :oops:
This year i've been making a lot of changes in my life for the better, and have been getting all "nike" about exercise and healthier living.
When we narrow down a schedule of play times, your more then welcome to go folfin w/ us. I'm sure we can come up with some spare disc's for you to use if don't have any.

First off it's great casual fun no matter how good you are at the game.
second I have more than enough discs for you and the wife to come learn with no investment needed!

It's a no go for sat mornin for me, What about Sunday8thJune?
I'm getting a tooth pulled at 10:30. prob. drooling the rest of the morning on sat? :-/
I have pm'd everyone who has commented on disc golf for this weekend and next. Please confirm by letting me no if it's a go for you or a pass for these two dates.
Anyone else wanting to play just pm me. This sundays course is a free course. at Griggs.
As always feel free to wing it and just show up.

For some reason I thought Saturday when I read the 8th - I'm good for Sunday as well - just depends on how ZenCha brunch goes as to whether or not I'll be there on time.

Who needs discs?

I will be there at 10:30 ish look for a honda civic with a bike rack on the back. and a skinny nerdy guy with glasses sitting on the trunk. In case there are 2 of us. I'm the guy unfortunately bill gates looking. :cry: :D

11:00 am still fine tuning the time.
Next meet up Sunday June 15th location to be announced Friday
please pm me or reply to this;
If you are coming, how many.
If you don't have discs and want to play.
If 11:00 is a problem
your choice on where we will play sunday.
1) Blendon Woods DiscGolfCourse (minimal fee/disc rental available)
2) Griggs Reservoir Park DGC Sunday Doubles tourney. So this option is out June 15th. (Event this week, usually free)
3) Hoover Dam, Brent Hambrick Memorial DGC (free)

Remember, OSU T&P enforces parking 24/7 - there are meters by mount hall (the first parking lot on the right when you pull into West Campus/Carmack). You can also park on the street on the east side of Kenny Rd. South of Kinnear Road for free and walk to the west campus course if you don't have any quarters.
