Hey all!

As some of you may already know, Dirty Frank's is doing a pre-party opening from 2pm to 4pm before their grand public opening at 4pm today.

Liz called me earlier today and said that she wanted to extend the pre-party invite to the CU community if anyone here can make it down.

So if you can make it, come on down! Sorry for the last minute notice, but Liz didn't want to make it too widely known too far in advance. They only seat 40 people and were afraid to get TOO slammed out of the gate. ;)

Damn, just got back from Arepazo and seen this. had I known I would have waited to eat. it's a great day for an opening, not too hot outside. the weather is beautiful really.

I just want to also chime in and say to anyone parking at the meters: be sure to check the times on the meters because lots of meters from 4-6pm are tow zones downtown. I'm not saying the 4th st meters are, I'm not sure, so just be aware of that.

I walked by earlier but it look kinda crowded. Is this a sit down type restraunt (looks like it)? I was kinda hopping for a quick serve/fast food style place.

Yup, sit-down, full-service joint. Loved it, had a great time!

The mac and cheese was good. Actually all the sides were, and the corn relish on the Ohioana was delicious. The fried leeks were unusual/interesting and yummy.

+1 on the mac and cheese. That's a real stand out side dish. I tried the chili dog and the sauerkraut dog. Happy with both.

Yes, it is sit-down place, but I imagine you can place a to go order at the bar and be in and out pretty quickly. It was fairly busy when I arrived this afternoon, but we had our food after maybe 8 minutes of ordering. Pretty speedy. ;)
