They were there but apparently weren't singing any karaoke. I need to confirm with our late night crew though.

I've got it on pretty good authority from a big fan who was there (and Big Mike and Siobhan are pretty hard to miss!)

Yeah that's what happened to me. It somehow redirected to an attack site but Firefox caught it. Strange.

Creeeepy...thanks for letting us know. Our IT guy (Mr. LaRue) is on the case. Appreciate the heads up.

Yeah, Firefox steered me clear as well. This web page at pills.ind.in has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
I hope this is an easy fix for Harold.

Ok, ok... but are the hot dogs safe? I might have to check on them tomorrow!

I was there for karaoke night. A big guy came in and started screaming at the workers saying someone stole his money. He came back a few times. I wasn't sure if the guy was going to start fighting or do soemthing stupid. The police were eventually called. It was kinda scary :/ Il still be back though!

I would like a gefilte fish dog with red dyed horseradish and maybe a little pate and crumbled matzo.

Dirty Franks made the Serious Eats/Rachel Ray NCAA hot dog tournament. However, they were eliminated in the second round. I realize that Rachel Ray doesn't garner a lot of respect in the foodie community, but it was cool that Franks made the list.

When is Dirty Franks going to expand or add a patio? The last two times I've gone I ended up leaving because the wait was so long. I'd love to see some more space! I will say that I love the life that places like Dirty Franks, Tip Top and Little Palace inject into downtown.

Well, on the bright side... you can easily hit up Little Palace next door, or walk a block to Jury Room if you're really hankerin' for some Lessner-establishment grub. ;) Good to have multiple options as a backup plan.

The first time I did Jury Room and the second time Little Palace, but it just doesn't quite hit the spot when you want a hot dog! It's very nice to know you have at least 4 choices until 2am downtown, it would never hurt to have more though.

If I'm having a DF hankering, I usually wind up being the first person in the door at 11am, happy to get my Texas Tommy with Tater Tots (T to the 4th). The weird thing is that I usually have the place to myself for a good 10-15 minutes before the waves of lunch crowd roll in.

Yummmm... I have not had a Texas Tommy since I left Philly. I need to get down to DF's.

FYI - Liz posted on Twitter that the "city tells us people are 'welcomed to park at bagged meters' on Saturday and Sunday".... so don't let that mess keep you from your dog. Or from downtown, in general.
