The food and the company were both great, and the meal was incredibly inexpensive for what we got. It was nice to put some faces to usernames, and to spend time with some of the serious foodies of Cbus.
As far as the restaurant, I was favorably impressed with Lee Garden's dim sum, and preferred it to the dim sum I had at Sunflower a few months ago. Sunflower's fried dim sum might have been just a tiny bit better, but Lee Garden's steamed dim sum were much superior.
Thanks to David F for taking the initiative on this. I hope to do it again soon.

Re: Sun Tong Luck, I think the owners need to hear demand from more than one person, Chris. Right now it seems you're the only one and even though you're speaking on behalf of more people, it would be much different if each individual were to stop here to eat and suggest the dim sum event themselves. It's worth a shot, anyway.

It was really great to get together in a small group like that. I'm hoping we can do something like this again soon. I'm also looking forward to reading the alt eats columbus review.
If anyone has any ideas about what to do next, let me know, I'm always up for interesting food. (as my waistline shows)

I'm happy to hear that Lee Garden was tasty and enjoyable, as I figured it would be. Now I'm extra disappointed I couldn't be there. :[ Bman, glad to hear you made it out there! And David, extra points for you for your organizational efforts. Walker should employ you for CU meetups. I hope the recently excised tooth didn't give you many problems. You were probably hungry as hell by Saturday!

I was pretty hungry, and from the number of empty plates we piled up, I wasn't the only one. I wanted to send a little shout out to chrissunami and his wife for having an adorable and really well behaved little one with them. It looked like he enjoyed his dim sum experience.

Thanks DavidF for organizing this. We had a great time and got to try some amazing food that we would never have tried outside of this enviroment. So thanks for that David!
It was nice to see all of you again, Andy,Jimmy,Chris and April, and and to meet some new folks, Brent and Colleen.
And it was nice to finally meet Bear, after enjoying your thoughtful posts it was nice to place a face with a name.
Sounds like everyone else had a good time also.

On our alt eats trip to Little Dragon, we were told that they have dim sum on the weekend. This could be added to the list of dim sum outings. I'm in for the next one wherever it is.
