Has anyone else ever tried this stuff? I saw it today and was so amazed by the artificiality of it that I had to try some. Dr Pepper is a weird enough flavor. But Dr Pepper with Cherry? Chocolate covered cherry? I'm on my third can right now. I think my teeth are bleeding. I'm not sure if I even like it but I think I might need some chicken rings to wash it down.

I had it not long after it came out -- it's way too sweet for me, with a strong chemical aftertaste that you get from some of the sweeter diet drinks.
I do think it's pretty crazy that you can get hints of chocolate covered cherry flavor from it, but for me that was one of those curiosity kind of things - "huh, carbonated liquid chocolate covered cherry. Huh. Ok, enough of that then..."

I kind of liked it.
However, it probably will just be around for a short time, so I'm not developing a habit.
However, I wonder how it would taste with some expresso vodka in it?
Might give that one a try.. 8)

The aftertaste of the water in the drinking fountains in my elementary school gym was exactly like Dr. Pepper. I've never been able to drink Dr. Pepper because of that -- it makes me sick just thinking about that taste. I'm not sure if the addition of cherry and chocolate could get me past the Memories of Elementary School Gym Drinking Fountain taste...
And they just tore down my old elementary school last winter to put up a new building, so the Dr. Pepper-aftertaste water is probably lost forever...
