My favorite booth was the one from http://www.bedpanart.com. That was some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a long time. There were many great booths.
I had a great time, I didn't see any trouble. The drizzle last night was sort of a bummer though.

I love Comfest, but the thing has simply gotten too big. The crowd yesterday afternoon was absolutely insane. Parking is a nightmare, and it's nearly impossible to have more than a couple square feet of space to yourself.

Yes and I volunteered with AU. It's times like this I'm glad I can walk or jog to Goodale and not worry about traffic and parking. There's a plus for downtown living.

Offramp stage rocked the hardest overall, imo.
Lab Rats on the main stage Saturday night was out of control.
Didn't mind the crowd. I always remember it being really crowded on Friday/Saturday night. If you went earlier in the day on Saturday it was really not too bad.

Yeah, the crowds really can be insane. When I went back Friday night after the NHL draft, it was almost impossible to walk around, it was so packed.
I live a couple blocks away, so I can come and go as I please without having to worry about finding parking, etc. That probably makes it more enjoyable than if I had to travel any distance to get there.

It was a fun time, traffic wasn't that bad, but Saturday crowd seemed much larger than previous years. They seem add more booths each year. All in all a good time and perfect weather.

Definitely looking to do an electronic musicians stage next year. Local electronic music was not really represented. I spoke with some local producers at the festival about it. I got some good feedback. I'm not sure about doing just DJs. I think it's gotta be local producers of electronic music, in all genres. I'd like to see Random Movement, Aria, Makku, Titonton, Nino Anthony, Zachery Allan Starkey, Lunar Solar, Dave Farlow, etc...

I had a great time at ComFest. Though the people who parked on my street probably had less of a good time. The parking enforcement officers appeared as soon as the permit parking only time period started.

The prime time to do so would be now as planning is yet to occur. You can get more info on the meetings by calling Monkey's Retreat or through the Comfest website.
This was the first time in 30 years that I missed the festival.

i had a fun time at comfest. people watching, good food/music, chillin with my friends and just enjoying a good time. the traffic was not fun on saturday and there were a hell of a lot of people on saturday. the drizzle of the rain did kind of suck saturday night but i had a great buzz going so it really didn't ruin my night. the nightclubs were busy. i spent most of my clubbing at MYNT with my friends both friday & saturday night. it was nice to see downtown busy with a lot things going on. i'll be back there next year. 8)
