NEW YORK - Dennis Miller is hardly shy about expressing his conservative political views. The 52-year-old comedian, who has voiced his support for President Bush and the U.S. invasion of Iraq, will talk politics as a contributor on Fox News' "Hannity & Colmes," network spokeswoman Dana Klinghoffer told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Hmm, I haven't watched much of Dennis Miller's various shows in the last several years. But, he's always struck me as an anti-gov't skeptic. Not just "keep out of my wallet, but "keep out of my personal life" as well. And to me, that combination spells libertarian :)
Just kind of annoys me that I think there are a lot more people out there with libertarian ideals than are willing to admit. Of course, for political reasons they feel the need to align themselves with a party come voting day (for fear of "wasting" a vote).
I guess my point is, if you feel the need to vote Dem. or Rep., fine. Nobody needs to know what you choose in the booth. But if you feel gays have every right to be married AND you believe in free markets, you're probably a libertarian. I guess until libertarians get their own cable network, Dennis will have to be the conservative with socially liberal views.

It doesn't matter if you're FOR gay marriage or AGAINST it. If you think the government should stay out of marital affairs EITHER WAY, then you may be a libertarian. 8)
Leave the personal responsibilities to the individuals.

Damn...this means that I have to watch Hannity and Colmes if I want to see Dennis Miller. No thanks.
I guess I'll just have to stick with The Daily Show.
