Can you guys post a how to get there, where to stay, what to bring? Does everyone just go solo? If a bunch of people from here are going we should ride share or do you fly?

Drive. You basically take 23 to 75. I usually stay in a cheap motel witha friend outside of the downtown area.

wow, i had no clue this was coming up so soon. may 24-26.
the only music fest i've been to is scribble jam in cinci many many moons ago... and all the events were at one venue outside the city. is this gonna be like that as well or scattered around like wmc? will car transportation be a necessity?

The festival is from noon until midnight in hart plaza. The after parties will be down the street at clubs like bleu and oslo, but there will also be parties going on throughout downtown that you will need transportation to get to.

The posted line up is rumored to only be 30% finished. With plenty of afterhours to still be announced. It is going to be a good fest this year.

Wondering where ya'll staying?
I went in 06 and stayed at the Ponch. I'm 75% i'm heading down this year if I can get some of my friends to cruise with. Maybe we all could meet up somewhere?!?
Also...what afterparties u hittin up. I saw some listed on Detroit Luv site...but u know there gonna more!
Still remember going to this one that was located below this bar...several rooms...was all grimy and dirty...dark...def. old school Rave Style...was good times..then while headin out of there around 4ish...we hear this BOOM BOOM BOOM...the Dollar General was poppin..haha. u entered in the dollar general then the party was upstairs. HA.

it's highly likely that i'll be down... hehe. but i can't commit concretely cuz that's right around finals and my cousin's baby shower is the next weekend. i'll have to see how i'm doing with school as may rolls around.

We usually stay at the Marriott...it's not too bad if you split a room. And we always get a room that overlooks the plaza so you can see the whole party from your hotel room.

SWEET. My dad practically lived in Marriott resident hotels while he traveled for work. I wonder if he wants to hook me up with some reward points ...

Goin up on Sunday and Checking out Tuesday.
I say maybe we all meet up possibly for an after party or meet somewhere in the festival...say what up or what not....
