YouTubeDoing my Christmas shopping now, and wanted to plan a spa day for my mother and myself as a bonding experience - looking for a place that does it all - massage, mani/pedi, makeover, etc. We're both plus sized, so it has to be a place that is comfortable with that. Price isn't an issue, just looking for recommendations on where others go for this sort of thing. Really want to stay in the Columbus area if possible. Any suggestions?

I love love love Keith at Open Sky. I've only gotten massages, but they are the best I've had here in columbus. They offer a full range of services. I've got an abundance of nature's insulation and always felt very welcomed. I'm sure if you phone and talk about your needs, they can hook you up.

I'll second Open Sky. Have gone there a couple times, with different people (I'm bad at planning, so it is usually last minute). They are a pleasure to work with and are very accommodating.

+1 on Keith at Open Sky for a massage. I think Open Sky also does facials, but I'm not sure about nails. My sister and I have done spa days at Charles Penzone Grand Salon (Dublin and Polaris), and loved it. Both locations have several massage rooms, mani-pedi stations, etc., so we were able to have our massages, then sit next to each other for mani-pedi's and to get our hair done. I also really like Nicci Debro spa in the Arena District. The staff there goes out of their way to make you feel great. They also have multiple massage rooms and mani-pedi stations, etc.
