People can talk all of the crazy shit they want, but yeah... I saw him back at the height of popularity for Sandstorm and that guy had a room full of 3000 people dancing their asses off.
He's a showman for sure.

This is exactly what BOMA needs! I can't wait! I saw Bad Boy Bill there last year and even though not that many people were there, the show was great!

darude is the only name i recognized on the upcoming boma shows... and this one is DEFINETELY a show i would go to!

If you like Darude, I recommend 4 Strings. Good stuff. Also, I would check out the dj's websites; usually they have music posted you can check out.

Wow. Right after S&D. The night before Josh Gabriel. And a week before Ferry. Is this Columbus?

Ferry Corsten. Best show I've ever seen. I can't wait.

Columbus has come a long way and its about time that our city is on the map for a city for DJ's to come though. If you like the DJ's or not, you have to admit that we see outstanding DJ's for cheap ass prices and a great damn show. Boma, Sugar, Karma.....keep the DJ's coming.
By the way, anyword on if Tiesto is going to stop by Columbus sometime in 2008?

Come a long way? Most of these DJs have been here before.
Props to the promoters for bringing them back. I've enjoyed seeing these guys and plenty of other major names perform in the past 10 years right here in Columbus.
We've been on the map for a long long time.

i second that.
we've been on the map for a long long time.
some of us are making sure we stay on that map with the new genres out there making waves right now too.
don't expect columbus to ever fall off.
great city with great electronic dance music constantly coming in no matter what you enjoy.

also, the fact that columbus keeps getting these djs for cheap, says a lot for our city and the hospitality of it's people. this isn't me just bragging about our city or something, this is something i've been told from the djs themselves many times over.
props to all of the promoters, fans, and venues that have kept our good standing in the industry!

I would say I'm going outside the box here & booking other upcoming & fresh dj's. Then I see post complaining that you don't know them, but then people complain tha the've all been here b4.
I don't get it. Damn ya if ya do, Damn you if you dont!
What happened to the days people trusted the promoters to bring good music whether you knew them or not? It's not about the name if you say you like EDM.

I was speaking more about Darude, Digweed, etc being here before. I'm glad you're bringing in others as well. I've always been a big fan of the shows you bring to town, so I'm not trying to sound negative.
I'm just saying that Columbus has been on the map for a long time. We've had great promoters bringing in talent for years, and will continue to see this happen!
Hooray for Columbus! :D

Excited for Darude, I for one can NEVER get sick of cranking up sandstorm. Also I've been pretty happy w/ the shows that have been coming here, Ferry Corsten has been great, thought Acosta's last show was disappointing, really wished I had been intown to see PVD at BoMA on thanksgiving last year.

My taste in EDM is always changing. So I always look for a little write up on the DJ to decide if I'm going to go or not. If it's a name I've never heard before, and there is no information on the guy, I won't risk it. I will say this. I would much rather check out a DJ that I've never heard before over a DJ like Tiesto whom I've seen like 3 times now. Unless of course it were free. :)

I know a lot of the DJ's have been here before. What I was saying is that Columbus is being known from other cities as a city to come to for a great time. I'm just happy that a lot of people are coming in town to visit our city and I'm glad that DJ's are making sure to stop by Columbus as many times as they want to. Thats all i'm saying.

okay, so I just called BoMA directly and apparently this show was changed from 18 to 21....yet the flyers that have been going around and got the word out in the first place still read 18. Sucks for all the OSU kids and Darude fans that committed their hard earned cash for presales when they were listed at 18 and are going to be turned away at the door because they have not even noted the change anywhere....how unprofessional of this promoter....what gives, anyways?
