FOSR might be able to organize a volunteer event to cut honeysuckle away from the bike path, if there's enough interest. I might be able to wrangle some fishermen but they'd be concerned with the area around the dam and banks. I'd have to get a permit from the city and hire a chipper crew.
The work would entail cutting with curved pruning saws and leaving the cuttings for the chipper crew. There would also probably be some cleanup of litter that we uncover as we clear.
And other than Greenlawn, where else would you want to clear bike paths?
