Hi all - Meredith here, from the new Consider Biking (commuter cycling) group. I wanna wrangle a crowd of cyclists for the Doo Dah parade, to promote what we're up to and, mostly, to HAVE FUN!
Mr. Mike Reed has suggested that we borrow an SUV and have the driver screaming and shouting at the cyclists circling around him to "get off the road!"...and then carting behind him a gas tank to fill up on when the parade stops for a minute, spewing wads of money all over the place. Other ideas are welcome!
Anyone have access to a bullhorn?!?
We're going to meet up at Junctionview Studios http://www.junctionviewstudios.com on Monday, July 2 @ 7pm to make signs and create a parade entry. Bring posterboard, markers, noisemakers, etc etc to help create our parade entry. If you can't make it, just show up at the parade to join us, biking and wearing a ridiculous costume! Line-up is at Park & Buttles, July 4 @ noon o' clock. See you then!
