I had a great time. It's a beautiful place and I'll be going again in the future.

Yeah, I'd go see first-run movies at the Ohio Theater for full priced admission if they had that sort of presentation for new films. I loved the organist (at least I think he was playing the pipe organ?) performing John William's 80s classics before the movie started, and during the Intermission.
All movies could use that kind of treatment. :D

That was awesome. I'm a big fan of that John Williams and was totally geeking out during the first intro.
For first run movies, I still like to go to the modern theaters having nicer pictures and sound.

I really enjoyed it as well. I think they found a sweet spot with that sort of film, but I don't see many others like it on the lineup. Seems like the rest are classics, which are great, but not really my thing. I'd love to see other movies from the 80's on the big screen that I've only seen on TV.
I could also just walk around that building for 2 hours. Incredible!!

Yeah, that was fun. Thanks, Walker, for organizing and for finagling the private room rock star pre-party treatment for us!

My thanks too, for the pre-show party. Definitely a nice touch - though it confused me at first when one of the ushers (some old lady) asked me if I was looking for the party for "the bloggers group."
