As the coordinator of Operation Backpack, I thank you so much for using the August happy hour to benefit our cause. Can you believe 1 in 30 children in Columbus City Schools are homeless!? That's why we are so passionate about getting backpacks and school supplies into their hands - so they are better equipped to learn. They have enough hurdles to cross. We hope to alleviate at least this one for them.
