Drink specials include half-off specialty martinis and $2 standard domestics. There will be several free pizzas set out to snack on as well. :D
There is a great big parking lot behind the cap building off Goodale. Sometimes it's free, sometimes it's $5. Otherwise you can try to snag a Short North meter space that goes off at 6pm.
See you all there! If you haven't been yet, this place has a nice big patio, so it should be a lot of fun!
Same night as Green Drinks, uh-oh....
... if only I had two livers for processing booze.
I appreciate the clarification on "standard" domestics.

Bud, Bud Light, Miller, Miller Light. That sort of thing. None of the CBC beers will be included in that.
The martinis sound pretty awesome though. I've got a menu that I'll have to get posted up shortly that gives all the details on those drinks. :D

Oops. I think we've conflicted before. Typically Tue/Wed/Thur are the days least likely to conflict with anything else major, but there's always going to be more than one thing to do on any given night of the year. That's part of the beauty of Columbus. :D Always lots to do!

No, I know. I wasn't being facetious (for once.) 8)
It's okay, I'll figure out time travel by then. So Eloi and Morlocks can freely mingle at both events :)
i've been there, they have a great patio, and a young professional kind of crowd. we parked in the parking lot right past it on the right side, it was 1130 at night though. some bum guy directed us in.
can't wait for the martini menu :)
hopefully i can make it!
Can you change the title to be CU happy hour and Dredd's 30th birthday? because, you know, that part's true too.
Just as clarification... this is the new bar on the Cap, correct?
it's right across from Hyde Park
i mean if that's what you were asking

Sounds like someone won't have to buy their own martins that night! :D

Yup. Right in between MoJoe Lounge and BlueFish.
"Specialty martinis"? I wonder if actual martinis are still the full price (not that I drink them in particular).
I'm not sure about the regular martinis. I'm sure they could give you some sort of deal though for being a CU'er. ;)

you could probably get a regular martini for happy hour price as long as it wasn't top shelf.
but why would you want that? ;)
birthday CU happy hour is bad news (in a good way). trust me.

I would like to do a JimL2-esque review of all of these martinis, in one sitting. I will employ the use of a personal audio recorder and Walker's American Express.
Deal?

I would chip in to see this.
Ndcent will be dancing topless and spilling drinks by 745pm.

I'm going to stop by here for a drink then head up to Green Drinks if you want a ride up there.
