The food at EG's is absolutely horrendous with one VERY notable exception: the firecracker shrimp appetizer.
Pray that the one cook who doesn't leave them in the fryer too long is working, and then enjoy an excellent glaze and terrific dipping sauce.
It's almost as if someone thought "Let's have one outstanding item and eff the rest". Even the presentation is fantastic.
As for the deep fried meatball sub: Sounds great...is disgusting.

I was there for an event one night and they put my martini in a hot glass right from the dishwasher.
Mmmmmm, olive juice soup!!!
I shall be sticking to beer this evening. :)

It's possible, but I'll try to behave a bit. I need to do two more loads of laundry tonight and get the house straightened up before heading to the airport bright and early in the AM.
