This is going to be a lot of fun and I don't want to miss it, but I've got a meeting at work to attend, and would miss most of the Happy Hour and would just make the first curtain call. Doh!
Looks like jmak playing the role of Luke Skywalker on the video clip!Damn, PZ, sorry to hear you can't make it but it was cool seeing you on Sunday and hopefully you'll be back again.
p.s. It's Han Solo - I'm obviously too cool for Luke. ;)

Rodney BentonJmak, I'll be back soon. I'm so glad I bought the "Back to the Garden" CD. It's a great memory of a an amazing performance. Even I had to wipe the tears a few times. I'm listening to Judy Blue Eyes right now -
I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are
And you make it hard
And you make it hard--Oh, and the raffle ticket drawing was an unexpected bonus: $25 gift card to Chilis/ Macaroni Grill, Self defense course, haircut. I had the lucky hand that night!
You bet I'll be back.

I just had to give up our two for this evening. I don't know if there is a waiting list or not, but those might be available for some last minute seats if anyone is still looking! Sucks we can't make this. last time we were there we had a blast!

This was SO much fun! It's obvious that a lot of thought, time and effort go into these shows. I'm really happy to have Shadowbox in Columbus.
Thanks to Walker and Shadowbox for a great evening.
P.S. The submarine crews were genius :)Posted 2 years ago # -

P.S. The submarine crews were genius :)A HUGE +1 to that. What a freakin fun show. That Love is a Battlefield skit alone was worth showing up for. Everything was great though. Waaaaaaaaaay too many buckets of beer consumed! :)

We had a great time last night! Really enjoyed the show and meeting new people. (Though I'll be real happy if we never meet the drunks in the corner who wouldn't shut up or put down their phones again.)
Loved the music, and Jmak kicked ass, my favorite nerd ever.

I'd like to thank Walker and the fine folks at Shadowbox for a fun night. It was a great way to celebrate my Birthday. I also enjoyed meeting Columbus Enthusiasts, can't wait for the next event. Good Times, Better People, Extraordinare City!

This is why I rave about Shadowbox so much. They're fantastic and friendly to boot! I think all the ladies were enthralled with Jerrod's creative tambourine playing. Amy can do no wrong AND took great care of our section, even in a Marilyn Monroe wig and stiletto heels. Special thanks to Jennifer Hahn for offering to search the men's room when I lost sight of Rockmastermike. I'll see you on Sunday for Back to the Garden!

It was cool meeting you catnfiddle, though it wasn't until the end of the night, but hopefully I'll become a CU socialite regular

I snapped a few pix at the Columbus Underground Night at Shadowbox, Feb. 25 2010. We had a great time hosting the CU event and look forward to more in the future! If you don't see yourself, make sure you get in front of my camera next time you're at the 'box! Thanks all for a fabulous night!
