I am down with that, especially Dominion.
Sounds like there are plenty of games in hand, but I have Munchkin in various forms and expansions.

I am in.
I am up for Settlers but will need a refresher.
I will bring Carcassone and Cranium.
If people are really into this idea a group called Columbus Area Boardgaming Society does a game night 2x per month.

Good folks. Their HQ/gaming area is up in Worthington. They meet 1st + 3rd Friday and 2 Sat / mo. I keep meaning to go up there, but there is always something blocking.
Does anyone have Puerto Rico? That is supposed to be the next step up from Settlers w/ less randomization. Never played it though.
I have a French edition of Carcassonne which I played ... in Carcassonne!

Anyone have Dungeons and Dragons? (Just kidding.)
Bump! Only one more week! ;)
Would anyone be interested in Operation? We have the Simpson's version!

I played Puerto Rico for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Huge learning curve, it took 6 (in teams of two) of us about 3 hours to play first game. Fun game, but be prepared to be confused for the first couple of rounds.
My sister and I used to really enjoy playing Scrabble, making nonsense words, and then supplying their definitions.
It was way more fun than regular Scrabble, and usually resulted in us both laughing so hard we were in danger of peeing our pants.

well there you go, if you can convince everyone that such a word should exist, then you get the points! I love it. i try to do that sometimes anyway during regular Scrabble.

You sort of just described Balderdash.

Time to make a new game, Scrabadash.
Who's bringing what, so we don't get overwhelmed, or bring 10 Lifes, or 10 Battleships, or what not?
I have Nick at Nite the Game, Discover Columbus, and Trivial Pursuit.

This is true, but there was no "convincing" someone that the definition is true. It was just... if I come up with the word SCROFUL, and I say it is a chafing disease of the you-know-where, it just is. Onward. Except for some reason, when you're just given random letters, you get some really funny weird combinations.
It's just great fun and laziness.
