I've seen ads for these things but very few people acually wearing them. When Anne & I were in Hawaii a few weeks ago though we saw them EVERYWHERE. This week there's an AP story floating around the local papers calling them a "craze". :roll:
So what does everyone think of these things? I think they're ugly. Look like gardening shoes... so I'm not sure why anyone would want to wear them anywhere other than a garden.
As for beach-wear... what's wrong with sandals or flip-flops? 8)

I've never tried them on, but I think they are ugly.
Nice on the colorful front, but an ugly shoe nonetheless.

I think they look horrible, but I guess the comfort of them is a big factor.

I think they're ok if you're a purple-haired girl who works at a natural foods store. Outside of that, I'd stay away.

I didn't know they had a name other than clogs...
I think they're ugly, but I can see where the comfort and convenience factor would win-out for some people. So I guess while I wouldn't wear them personally, if that's what folks want to wear, more power to them.

Whats the worst is seeing entire families wearing those foot atrocities.

My niece got a pair and i wore them around for a bit... they reminded me of Jellies... comfy at first but then your feet get kind of sweaty since they're made of rubber... then they started to rub.
I could've dealt with the hideousness if they were so comfy it felt like i was walking on a cloud... but i didn't even find them that comfortable.
So... i have no clue what the purpose of them is.
